Sustainability & ethical values

Are that we have been gifted this planet as our shared home with nature and we will all benefit by preserving its resources for future generations.  Since setting up the business I have always strived to be as mindful as I can of the impact I am having. 

Once COVID-19 restrictions were lifted I quickly shifted from wearing disposable gloves and aprons and using disposable wipes to using washable bamboo wipes to disinfect my equipment between visits.

I choose my equipment based on minimal waste, and my uniform and other items are preloved where available and appropriate.  Suppliers are chosen for their locality and or sustainable values.

I drive a fully electric car powered by renewable sources of electricity to negate fossil fuel emissions from my transport, and plan my journeys as efficiently as possible.

I have recently obtained a Carbon Literacy certification which helped me to identify my website as a potential area of improvement, so I now use a renewable energy-powered web hosting service and have conducted a CO2 audit of my site.

Every year, in lieu of sending Christmas cards I donate a sum to animal charities in remembrance of patients we have lost over the previous year.
